Aravore Babies, 31 Park Road
The shop at 31 Park Road has seen several incarnations in recent years. For many years,
Audio Gold was based here before they moved to larger premises on Park Road. After Audio Gold left it was a vintage clothing shop called Valentine & Goldsmith for a spell, with some wonderful vintage pieces from the elegant to the outlandish. After this shop moved elsewhere, it became For His Sake, a trendy men's clothing emporium. For His Sake sadly finished trading in 2007, but in 2008 Aravore Babies moved in, and have a fantastic collection of organic fair trade childrenswear, as well as a selection of gifts and toys.
