The Three Compasses is a lovely old high-ceilinged Victorian pub (it was once a riverside pub before the New River was diverted underground!) with a good range of real ale, a separate area for sports and pool and a good quiz on a Monday night.This part of Hornsey High Street is well worth a visit, with auction rooms just a few doors down from the Three Compasses.
