Park Road Crouch End virtual tour - Park Road was named in 1863 after the opening of Alexandra Park - it was previously known as Maynard Street, and still has a pub called The Maynard.Park Road connects Alexandra Palace and Muswell Hill with Crouch End, and is home to Crouch End's famous lido, built in 1929, and still very well used on a summer's day (open May to September, indoor pools open all year round).
