Priory Park

Crouch End is lucky to be surrounded with green spaces such as Alexandra Palace, Highgate Woods, Queens Wood and Stationers Park. One of the best-used parks is Priory Park, which is a great park for kids of all ages. The paddling pool caters for kids and their parents, who can grab a coffee and a bite to eat from Fun Yum Cafe while they watch their children splashing about. Fun Yum also hosts children's classes and many Crouch End toddlers can be heard 'Singing with Jeremy' several mornings a week. As well as the paddling pool, there's also a children's adventure playground with swings, roundabouts, climbing frames and even a flying fox. For older kids there's also a large area for basketball (click here to view) and other ball sports. In the summer months, Carter's Traditional Steam fair visits the park to provide thrills and spills for the adventurous, and a sedate ride on the merry-go-round for the rest of us! Priory Park also caters well for adults, with a 'Philosopher's Garden' for those wanting a quiet moment, or walk around the paths in the park and look at the fountains and fauna.
