Priory Park, Ball Courts and Playing Field

Priory Park in Crouch End has been a magnet for Crouch Enders to play and relax in for decades. The park was planned in the late 19th century, and was finally completed in the late 1920s, largely due to the tenacity of Henry Reader-Williams, who was determined to avoid greedy developers eating up the land around Crouch End for buildings. The clocktower in Crouch End was constructed as a memorial to Reader-Williams' contribution to the area.

This Priory Park virtual tour overlooks the ball courts where Crouch End teenagers are often seen playing basketball, with younger kids using the paved ground to learn to cycle. There's plenty more activities available in the park from the paddling pool (click here to view the Priory Park virtual tour by the paddling pool) to the six free tennis courts.
