Topsfield Parade
This end of Tottenham Lane has been a lively shopping area for many years. The north side is called Topsfield Parade and the south side Broadway Parade (new postmen and couriers are often confused!). This virtual tour was captured on the Broadway Parade side, looking at Topsfield Parade. The striking building with the half-moon window in the centre of Topsfield Parade is number 31, and it was once the Queen’s Opera House - opened in 1897, but used mostly as a cinema until the Second World War. It is now a Virgin Active Health Club and Gym.
